This mode is generally recommended for COPD, Respiratory insufficiency, and Hypoventilation patients. This feature includes Digital Auto-Trak technology, which fine-tunes ventilation based on natural breathing patterns while compensating for any leaks, and AVAPS-AE, an auto-titrating mode that maintains a patent airway with an automatic back-up rate.
